In modern industrial production, bag filters have become the most widely used and technologically mature core equipment in factory dust control due to their excellent purification ability and wide adaptability. Whether it is steel metallurgy, cement building materials, mechanical processing, or grain chemical industry, it can efficiently solve various industrial dust pollution problems and is a key equipment for achieving workshop clean production and exhaust gas emissions standards.

1、 Core working principle: efficient filtration and automatic dust cleaning

Bag filter is essentially a dry and efficient filtration device, which relies on the filtering effect of fiber fabrics to capture solid particles in dusty gases. The entire workflow is mainly divided into two stages: "filtering" and "cleaning":

1. Efficient filtration stage: When the dusty gas enters the dust collector box under the negative pressure of the fan, the airflow velocity decreases, and large particles of dust settle under the action of gravity. And fine dust passes through the specially designed filter bag with the airflow and is trapped on the outer surface of the filter bag. After being intercepted layer by layer by the filter bag, the clean gas passes through the filter bag and enters the clean air chamber, and is finally discharged through the exhaust outlet. For micron sized fine dust, its capture efficiency can usually reach over 99.9%.

2. Pulse cleaning stage: As the filtration continues, the dust layer on the surface of the filter bag continues to thicken, and the operating resistance of the equipment increases accordingly. When the resistance reaches the preset value, the intelligent control system will trigger the dust cleaning program. The electromagnetic pulse valve instantly opens, spraying high-pressure compressed air into the inside of the filter bag, causing the filter bag to rapidly expand and generate high-frequency vibration, shaking off the dust attached to the surface into the ash hopper below, thereby achieving online regeneration of the filter bag and ensuring continuous and stable operation of the equipment.

2、 Core advantages in factory dust control

Compared to other technologies such as electrostatic or wet dust removal, bag filters have demonstrated significant comprehensive advantages in factory applications

1. Extremely high and stable dust removal efficiency: It is not affected by physical characteristics such as dust specific resistance, and can maintain extremely high capture efficiency for various types of fine dust. The emission concentration can be easily controlled within 10mg/m ³, which can stably meet the increasingly stringent environmental ultra-low emission standards.

2. Strong adaptability to working conditions: By selecting filter bags of different materials, bag filters can flexibly cope with complex industrial flue gas environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and strong corrosion. Meanwhile, its modular design also facilitates flexible expansion according to the actual air volume requirements of the factory.

3. Recyclable materials: As a dry dust removal equipment, it collects dust in its original dry state. For metal powders, chemical raw materials, or grain dust with recycling value, they can be directly recycled and reused, bringing additional economic benefits to the enterprise.

3、 Scientific selection and operational considerations

The long-term stable operation of bag filters relies on scientific selection and standardized operation and maintenance. In practical applications in factories, it is necessary to accurately match the material and structure of filter bags based on the temperature, humidity, chemical composition of flue gas, as well as the particle size, viscosity, concentration, and other specific working conditions of dust.

In addition, the parameter settings of the dust cleaning system are also crucial. A reasonable dust cleaning logic can not only maintain low impedance operation of equipment, but also effectively avoid mechanical fatigue of filter bags caused by excessive dust cleaning, thereby significantly extending the service life of core consumables and reducing the long-term operation and maintenance costs of the factory.
