Working principle of bag dust collector

The working principle of bag filter is based on the filtering principle, using organic or inorganic fiber filter cloth to filter out dust in the gas. The specific work process is as follows:

1. Dust containing gas entering: Dust containing gas enters the dust collector through the inlet, usually from the middle box or ash hopper of the dust collector.

2. Dust capture: When the dusty gas passes through the filter bag, the dust particles are blocked on the outer surface of the filter bag. Due to the small pores and fiber structure of the filter bag, dust particles cannot pass through the filter bag and are therefore trapped on the surface of the filter bag.

3. Purified gas discharge: The purified gas enters the upper box through the filter bag and is then discharged through the exhaust duct.

4. Dust layer formation: As the filtration process progresses, a layer of dust will gradually accumulate on the surface of the filter bag, forming a dust layer. The dust layer has a certain filtering effect and can further capture small dust particles.

5. Dust cleaning process: When the dust accumulation on the surface of the filter bag reaches a certain level, the dust collector will start the dust cleaning process. Common dust cleaning methods include pulse blowing, mechanical vibration, etc. The dust attached to the filter bag is removed through a cleaning system to restore the filtering performance of the filter bag.

The dust removal effect of a bag filter is related to various factors, but mainly depends on the material and performance of the filter material. The filter material can be cloth or felt woven from synthetic fibers, natural fibers, or glass fibers, and sewn into cylindrical or flat dust filter bags as needed.

The working principle of a bag filter is to capture dust particles in the gas through filtering materials, form a dust layer for further filtration, and maintain the filtering performance of the filter bag through a cleaning system, thereby achieving efficient dust removal.
