1、 What is a pulse bag filter

Pulse bag filter is currently the most widely used dry dust control equipment in the industrial field, belonging to the specialized dust removal device for end of pipe emissions. The equipment relies on the principle of filter bag filtration, combined with a pulse automatic dust cleaning system, to continuously capture particulate matter in the production flue gas, achieving factory dust control and exhaust gas purification. Due to its stable operation, high filtration accuracy, and wide adaptability to various working conditions, it has become the mainstream standard equipment for industrial dust removal in various industries.

Compared with traditional dust removal equipment, the pulse bag filter adopts an online pulse cleaning mode, which can support 24-hour continuous operation of the production line, with low failure rate and mature operation and maintenance system, and can meet the majority of industrial waste gas particle emission standards at home and abroad.

2、 Equipment working principle

The dusty flue gas enters the dust collector box under negative pressure, and large particles of dust naturally settle to the bottom ash hopper by gravity; Fine dust is intercepted and attached to the outer surface of the filter bag as it passes through the air flow. Clean air penetrates the filter material and is discharged by the fan.

When the dust on the surface of the filter bag thickens and the pressure difference of the equipment increases, the pulse control system automatically starts, and high-pressure airflow is instantly sprayed through the solenoid valve to shake and peel off the dust layer on the surface of the filter bag. After falling into the ash hopper, the detached dust is discharged in a closed manner by the ash unloading device, and the entire process is automatically circulated to ensure the long-term stable dust removal efficiency of the equipment.
 


3、 Core structure composition

The standard pulse bag filter adopts a modular structure, with a clear overall architecture, universal accessories, and convenient maintenance and replacement in the later stage. It mainly includes the following core components:

1. Filter component: Dust filter bag and bag cage, as the core filter unit, can be selected with different materials according to temperature, corrosion, and dust characteristics

2. Pulse cleaning system: including pulse controller, pulse solenoid valve, and gas storage bag, responsible for automatic timed spraying and cleaning of dust

3. Box structure: clean air chamber, dust air chamber, ash hopper, realizing airflow diversion and dust collection

4. Ash unloading mechanism: star shaped unloader, flap valve, etc., to achieve closed ash discharge and avoid secondary dust flying

5. Fan pipeline system: provides stable negative pressure air volume to ensure the normal operation of the entire dust removal system

5、 Equipment applicability limitations

Pulse bag filter is not suitable for high humidity, oil containing, and strongly viscous dust conditions, which can easily cause filter bag clogging, decreased ventilation, and efficiency degradation. At the same time, filter bags are common vulnerable parts that need to be regularly inspected and replaced to maintain stable and standard operation of the equipment.

6、 Main application industries

Widely used in industrial scenarios with dry flue gas and dry dust, including cement and building materials, metallurgical minerals, chemical powders, mechanical polishing, stone crushing, grain processing, light manufacturing and other industries, it is a universal main equipment for dust control in industrial production lines.

7、 Selection precautions

Equipment selection should be comprehensively judged based on on-site flue gas temperature, dust humidity, dust concentration, corrosive media, and local environmental emission standards. Reasonably matching the filter material, filtering air speed, and equipment processing air volume can effectively avoid problems such as filter bag blockage, rapid wear, and unstable emissions, ensuring long-term stable operation of the equipment.
