Material of Pulse Bag Dust Collector
Jul 12,2025
It mainly consists of filter bags, shells and frames, dust cleaning systems and accessories, etc. The material selection of each component needs to consider the working conditions comprehensively. The following will provide a detailed explanation of the common materials and applicable working conditions of each key component, providing reference for the scientific selection of dust collector materials.
filter-bag
1. Polyester (PE): Temperature resistant to 80-130 ℃, suitable for dry and non corrosive working conditions (grain and wood processing), low cost, and can cope with damp dust after waterproof and oil resistant treatment.
2. Aramid (Nomex): resistant to temperatures of 204 ℃ (instantaneous 240 ℃), acid and alkali, suitable for medium temperature dust in chemical and smelting industries, with a lifespan of 2-3 years.
3. P84: Temperature resistance of 260 ℃ (instantaneous 280 ℃), capturing ultrafine dust, good acid resistance, suitable for garbage incineration and asphalt mixing.
4. PTFE: resistant to temperatures of 250 ℃ (instantaneous 280 ℃), strong corrosion resistance, with a lifespan of over 5 years, suitable for extremely harsh working conditions, and high cost.
Shell and frame
1. Carbon steel (Q235): economical type, requiring anti-corrosion treatment (painting/galvanizing), suitable for dry and normal temperature environment (cement dust), with a lifespan of 3-5 years.
2. Stainless steel (304/316L): 304 can withstand temperatures up to 800 ℃, suitable for food and pharmaceuticals; 316L anti chlorine corrosion, used in coastal and chemical chlorine containing scenarios, with a lifespan of over 10 years.
3. Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP): resistant to strong corrosion, good insulation, temperature resistance ≤ 120 ℃, requires a cooling system, suitable for small and medium-sized equipment.
Ash cleaning system
1. Pulse valve: Aluminum alloy valve body and nitrile rubber diaphragm for room temperature use; 304 stainless steel valve body and fluororubber diaphragm are used in corrosive environments, with a lifespan of over 1 million cycles.
2. Spray pipe: galvanized seamless steel pipe for ordinary working conditions; 316L stainless steel pipe (polished inner wall) is used for corrosive conditions.
accessory
1. Filter bag skeleton: ordinary galvanized carbon steel; Corrosion using 304/316L stainless steel; High temperature Cr20Ni80 alloy is used.
2. Sealing element: Nitrile rubber used at room temperature; Silicone rubber for high temperatures (≤ 200 ℃); Corrosion resistant fluororubber.
Selection principle
1. Choose materials based on temperature and corrosiveness, such as P84/PTFE for high temperature and 316L/PTFE for strong corrosion.
2. Balance cost and lifespan, and prioritize long-life materials for extreme working conditions.
3. Meet target market standards (such as EU REACH, US FDA).
In actual selection, it is recommended to comprehensively evaluate parameters such as dust concentration, particle size, and equipment operating frequency, and verify material applicability through small sample testing to ensure efficient and stable operation of the pulse bag filter under established working conditions.
