Sharing of daily maintenance skills for bag filter operation and maintenance

As the core equipment for industrial dust treatment, the operational stability of bag filter is directly related to the environmental quality and environmental compliance of the production workshop. For overseas enterprises, scientific operation and daily maintenance can not only extend the service life of equipment, but also avoid production losses caused by downtime due to malfunctions. Below are practical tips that are tailored to actual working conditions, including maintenance of core components, operation monitoring, and prevention of common problems.

1、 Core component maintenance: Fine maintenance of filter bags

The filter bag is the filtering core of the bag filter, and its state directly determines the dust removal efficiency. Daily maintenance should focus on the following points. Firstly, regular inspections are recommended. It is suggested to observe the surface condition of the filter bag through the equipment maintenance door every week. If any damage, detachment, sticking or hardening of the filter bag is found, it should be dealt with in a timely manner. For industries with high hygiene requirements such as food and pharmaceuticals, damaged filter bags need to be replaced immediately to avoid dust leakage and product contamination.

The cleaning and maintenance of filter bags should be adjusted according to the characteristics of dust. For dry dust with low viscosity, filter bag wear can be reduced by optimizing cleaning parameters; If the dust is highly viscous and prone to clumping, it is necessary to regularly check whether the dust cleaning system is unobstructed. If necessary, a low-pressure pulse dust cleaning mode should be used to avoid the impact of high-pressure airflow on the filter bag. In addition, the replacement of filter bags should follow the principle of "synchronous replacement of the same batch" to ensure consistent filtration resistance of filter bags and avoid uneven overall equipment load caused by aging of some filter bags.

The storage and replacement details of filter bags cannot be ignored. The spare filter bag should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid moisture and mold growth of the filter material; When replacing, attention should be paid to the sealing fit between the filter bag and the flower board to prevent dust from escaping through the gaps, and to avoid scratching the surface of the filter bag with sharp tools, thereby extending its service life.

2、 Ash cleaning system: key to ensuring stable operation

Dust cleaning system failure is a common cause of decreased efficiency in bag filters, and daily maintenance should take into account both mechanical components and control parameters. As the core component of the dust cleaning system, the pulse valve needs to be checked daily for its working status. If any leakage, weak blowing or stuck valve core is found in the pulse valve, it should be disassembled and repaired in a timely manner, and damaged sealing rings or valve cores should be replaced. For high-frequency operating conditions, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the pulse valve once a month to remove dust and dirt from the valve body.

The maintenance of spray pipes and nozzles should pay attention to smoothness. Check the spray pipe weekly for any deformation or displacement, ensure that the nozzle is aligned with the center of the filter bag, and avoid local wear of the filter bag caused by the displacement of the spray airflow; Every month, use compressed air to blow and clean the inside of the spray pipe, remove residual dust and impurities, and prevent nozzle blockage from affecting the cleaning effect. For high-temperature working conditions, it is necessary to regularly check the high-temperature resistance of the spray pipe. If corrosion or deformation occurs, it should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid safety hazards.

The dynamic adjustment of dust cleaning parameters is also a key maintenance focus. Optimize the cleaning cycle and blowing time in a timely manner based on changes in dust concentration. For example, during peak production seasons when dust concentration increases, the cleaning cycle can be appropriately shortened, but excessive cleaning should be avoided to prevent damage to the fiber structure of the filter bag; Before shutting down the equipment, a thorough dust cleaning should be carried out to remove dust from the surface of the filter bag and prevent dust from clumping and adhering to the filter bag during shutdown.

3、 Equipment body and auxiliary system: basic maintenance cannot be ignored

The maintenance of the bag filter body and auxiliary system is the foundation for ensuring the long-term stable operation of the equipment. The maintenance of the equipment casing should pay attention to its sealing and anti-corrosion properties. The sealing gasket at the connection of the casing should be checked weekly for aging and damage. If there is any air leakage, the sealing material should be replaced in a timely manner; For the working conditions of handling corrosive gases, it is necessary to check the anti-corrosion coating inside the shell every month. If the coating falls off, it should be promptly repaired to prevent the shell from being corroded and perforated.

The maintenance focus of ash hopper and ash unloading device is to prevent blockage. Check the accuracy of the ash hopper level gauge daily to avoid excessive ash accumulation in the hopper due to gauge malfunction; The ash discharge valve needs to be checked for operation status every week. If there is jamming or abnormal noise, it should be stopped and cleaned in a timely manner to avoid motor overload damage. In humid or prone to clumping dust conditions, a heat tracing device can be installed on the outside of the ash hopper, and the heat tracing temperature should be regularly checked to prevent dust from getting damp and clumping, blocking the ash discharge channel.

The maintenance of fans and motors should follow the general industrial equipment standards. Check the lubrication condition of the fan bearings every month, replenish or replace lubricating oil in a timely manner, and ensure smooth operation of the bearings; Regularly clean the dust and dirt on the fan impeller to avoid the imbalance of the impeller and the exacerbation of equipment vibration. The motor part needs to be well protected against moisture and dust, and the wiring terminals should be checked for firmness to avoid electrical faults caused by poor contact. Especially in humid and hot overseas environments, it is necessary to strengthen the ventilation and heat dissipation of the motor.

4、 Operation monitoring and exception handling: preventing fault risks in advance

Establishing a comprehensive operation monitoring mechanism in daily maintenance can effectively detect equipment abnormalities in advance. It is recommended to monitor the core parameters such as inlet and outlet pressure difference, air volume, and temperature of the equipment in real time. If a sudden increase in inlet and outlet pressure difference is found, it may be caused by filter bag blockage or ash accumulation in the ash hopper. It is necessary to check the ash cleaning system and ash unloading device in a timely manner; If the pressure difference suddenly decreases, it is necessary to check whether the filter bag is damaged or the seal has failed.

To address the issue of insufficient professionalism in the operation and maintenance team that overseas enterprises may face, the daily inspection process can be simplified, and a multilingual "fault diagnosis comparison table" can be created to clarify the possible causes and handling methods corresponding to parameter abnormalities. For example, when the dust concentration at the equipment discharge outlet exceeds the standard, the problem can be gradually identified in the order of "filter bag damage → seal failure → insufficient dust cleaning" to quickly locate the problem.

Regular shutdown and maintenance of equipment are indispensable. It is recommended to conduct a comprehensive shutdown inspection every quarter, focusing on checking the wear condition of the filter bag, the performance of the cleaning system, the anti-corrosion coating of the shell, etc. At the same time, the electrical control system should be calibrated to ensure that all sensors and actuators are working properly. During overseas holidays or off-season production, annual major repairs can be arranged to centrally replace aging components, laying the foundation for stable operation in the future.

5、 Maintenance Summary: Establish a normalized mechanism

The core of operation and maintenance of bag filters lies in "prevention first, refined management". Overseas enterprises can develop personalized maintenance schedules based on local operating conditions and equipment usage frequency, clarifying daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance items and responsible persons, forming a closed-loop mechanism of "inspection record processing feedback". At the same time, pay attention to the training of operators to ensure that they master basic maintenance skills and abnormal judgment abilities, and reduce equipment failures caused by improper operation.

Scientific daily maintenance not only ensures the efficient operation of bag filters and meets the environmental standards of the target market, but also reduces equipment failure rates and maintenance costs, providing reliable guarantees for the production continuity of overseas enterprises. This is also the key to the long-term environmental protection value of bag filters.
