For overseas factories, the "soul" of bag filters is not the equipment casing, but the filter material - if the filter material is not selected correctly, it is prone to softening and damage under high temperature conditions, and will quickly age in corrosive environments. Not only will it have to be shut down for replacement in 3-6 months, but it may also face high fines from EU CE and US EPA due to excessive dust leakage. Only by accurately matching the filter materials that meet the requirements of "temperature resistance" and "corrosion resistance" can bag filters truly adapt to industrial scenarios, saving maintenance costs and adhering to compliance bottom lines.
1、 Temperature resistant filter material: Select the right material according to temperature, and do not "fall off" under high temperature conditions
The temperature difference of industrial flue gas is large, ranging from room temperature in grain plants to 260 ℃ in steel plants. The temperature resistance of filter materials directly determines the service life of equipment. The core product selection logic is based on the "long-term temperature resistance upper limit":
1. Room temperature -150 ℃: Polyester filter material, a cost-effective choice
Suitable for normal temperature scenarios such as grain processing and electronic cigarette welding, polyester filter material can withstand a temperature of 130 ℃, with a price only one-third of high-temperature filter materials, and a filtration accuracy of 99.5%, meeting the environmental protection requirements of emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and Africa.
2. 150-260 ℃: PPS filter material, the main high-temperature material
For high-temperature flue gas from cement plants and steel plants, PPS filter material can withstand temperatures of 200-260 ℃ for a long time, with a peak temperature of 280 ℃ in the short term, and is resistant to acid corrosion.
2、 Corrosion resistant filter material: suitable for acid and alkali flue gas, with the right material selection to prevent rusting
The flue gas from chemical, electroplating, waste incineration and other scenarios contains corrosive components such as SO ₂ and Cl ⁻. Ordinary filter materials will be corroded and perforated after 3 months. The material should be selected according to the "corrosion strength":
1. Mild corrosion: PPS filter material, balancing temperature resistance and corrosion resistance
Mild acid containing flue gas, PPS filter material can directly cope with it, combined with film coating technology, which not only resists corrosion but also improves filtration accuracy. The emission concentration is ≤ 10mg/m ³, which meets the EU EN 13285 standard.
2. Severe corrosion: PTFE filter material, the "king of anti-corrosion"
For highly corrosive flue gas in chemical and electroplating plants, PTFE filter materials should be selected - resistant to strong acids and alkalis, with a long-term temperature resistance of 260 ℃ and a lifespan of over 3 years.
3、 Foreign trade adaptation: customized by region, unobstructed customs clearance and use
When selecting filter materials for overseas factories, it is also necessary to consider "regional working conditions" and "certification compliance":
High temperature and high dust in the Middle East and Africa: prioritize PPS filter material, add anti sand film to reduce dust wear;
High environmental protection in Europe and North America: Choose PTFE/PPS laminated filter materials with CE and REACH certifications to avoid material non-compliance and customs clearance obstacles;
Southeast Asia high humidity: The filter material is treated with waterproofing to prevent moisture absorption and clumping, thereby extending its lifespan.

Room temperature polyester saves costs, while high-temperature PPS is the main force; Choose PPS for mild corrosion and PTFE for severe corrosion resistance. Choosing the right temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant filter material for bag filters is not about "spending extra money", but about "saving trouble and ensuring compliance" - it not only reduces downtime losses, but also adapts to global industrial scenarios, becoming a "dust removal reassurance pill" for overseas factories.
