Precautions for using bag filter

As the core equipment of industrial dust removal, the operation status of bag filter directly affects the purification efficiency, equipment life, and production safety. Especially in diverse working environments overseas, mastering scientific usage methods is the key to avoiding malfunctions and reducing costs.
Check before startup
1. Confirm that the flue gas temperature, humidity, and dust concentration meet the equipment design values, and start the pre-treatment device when exceeded.
2. Check the installation and sealing of the filter bag, and ensure that the dust cleaning system (pulse valve, pressure) and safety devices (anti-static, explosion-proof) are functioning properly.
Monitoring during operation
1. Pay attention to the pressure difference between imports and exports (normal 1000-1500Pa), and check the filter bag or dust cleaning problem when the pressure difference is abnormal.
2. Control the temperature below the upper limit of the filter bag's temperature resistance, and initiate cooling measures when it exceeds the limit.
3. Regularly check the dust concentration at the outlet, and prioritize checking for damaged filter bags or cleaning effectiveness if it exceeds the standard.
Routine maintenance
1. Check the status of the filter bag weekly and replace it according to the working conditions (1-2 years in high-temperature corrosive environment, 3-5 years at room temperature).
2. Clean the compressed air of moisture daily, check the pulse valve monthly, and replace the seals annually.
3. Regularly maintain the anti-corrosion layer of the shell to ensure the airtightness of the equipment.
Special working condition handling
1. Flammable and explosive dust: No open flames, regular dust cleaning, equipped with spark fire extinguishing system.
2. High temperature and high humidity: Maintain insulation, use waterproof filter bags, and blow dry dust before stopping the machine.
3. Corrosive dust: Check the anti-corrosion layer, dry the compressed air, and rinse the residue after shutdown.
Shutdown operation
1. First, close the flue gas valve and run the induced draft fan for 5-10 minutes to remove residual dust.
2. High temperature/corrosive working conditions need to be reduced to room temperature, cleaned of corrosive substances, and then shut down.
3. Long term shutdown requires removing the filter bag and placing a desiccant to prevent moisture and rust.
Targeted operation according to working conditions can ensure efficient operation of equipment and comply with environmental standards.
