As the core component of bag filter, the performance of dust removal bag directly affects the dust removal efficiency and equipment operation stability. For the diverse working conditions faced in foreign trade business, the selection of suitable dust removal bags should focus on the following situations:
1、 Adaptation of dust characteristics
The physical and chemical properties of different dust particles have significant differences in the requirements for cloth bags. If the dust contains sharp particles, it is necessary to choose materials with strong wear resistance to prevent the bag from being quickly scratched; For high concentration viscous dust, priority should be given to cloth bags with smooth surfaces and easy cleaning to prevent dust from adhering and blocking the filter holes; If the dust contains corrosive components, it is necessary to use materials that are resistant to chemical corrosion to avoid bag failure due to corrosion.
2、 Matching of working condition parameters
1. Temperature range: This is a key indicator for selecting a cloth bag. Polyester filter material can be used under normal temperature conditions; Suitable for polypropylene or acrylic filter media in medium temperature environments; High temperature conditions require the use of materials such as Nomex and aramid; If the temperature exceeds 200 ℃, glass fiber or PTFE filter material should be selected. If there is instantaneous temperature fluctuation in the working conditions, a safety margin of 10-20 ℃ should be reserved to prevent high temperature damage to the cloth bag.
2. Smoke humidity: High humidity environments can easily cause bag condensation and blockage. For smoke with humidity exceeding 80%, a filter material with strong hydrophobicity should be selected, and materials with strong moisture absorption should be avoided to prevent the cloth bag from becoming damp and hardening.
3. Air volume and filtration speed: The size and material of the bag should match the processing air volume. Excessive filtering wind speed will exacerbate bag wear and dust penetration, while insufficient speed will increase equipment volume and cost. Usually, for fine dust or viscous dust, the filtration wind speed should be controlled at 1-1.2m/min; For coarse dust, it can be appropriately increased to 1.5-2m/min, which needs to be determined based on the air flow resistance of the bag material.
3、 Performance parameters of filter media
1. Filtration accuracy: Select according to environmental emission standards and dust emission requirements. If ultra-low emissions are to be achieved, ultrafine fiber filter media or membrane filter media should be selected, whose surface microporous structure can effectively intercept submicron dust; For general working conditions, conventional needle punched felt filter material can meet the requirements.
2. Wear resistance and service life: In working conditions with coarse dust particles and fast flow rates, special attention should be paid to the wear resistance of the bag. Filter media with larger thickness and high fiber strength can be selected, and their tear resistance indicators should be checked; In low wear conditions, conventional filter media with higher cost-effectiveness can be given priority consideration.
3. Aging resistance: The cloth bag is prone to aging when exposed to sunlight, ozone, or oxidizing gases for a long time. For outdoor installation or treatment of flue gas containing oxidized components, filter materials with anti-aging agent shall be selected to extend service life.
